Heat Wrap - Sticky Metalish Tape Type ?

Hey,

When i got my Jap turbo, it had one of the rubber pipes cut off with half left behind.

It had heat wrap around it like a metal sticky tape about 3-4cms wide.

Where do you get this stuff?

I've tried Autobahn and Repco, no good.

Super Cheap Auto today....fingers crossed.

Anyone else found any of this stuff?

Try any Auto Electrical/Air Conditioning outfit - very common on Air Cond Plumbing lines under the bonnet near hot exhaust manifolds etc.......

The reason for the lower price is that i can get the goods direct from the manufacturers.

This tape as been designed specifically for commercial airconditioning units you find in shopping centres which means they have a higher insulating value than those you find around the place.

The proper high heat proof ones can be purchased from Revolution Racegear, but they are not cheap.
