i know an easier way to convert your 31. sell it, and buy a manual one! will be cheaper and shitloads easier. :uh-huh:

it's not relaly sellable atm. the tailshaft is stuffed and is banging on the floor pan pretty badly atm. i need to just get that fixed, then i could sell it. it's the only thing wrong with the car atm (cept some rust spots here and there)

Hey mate, ive got a 1 piece tailshaft for an auto lying around, $60, that should get u out on the track, just leave it in 2nd gear the whole way through and do a lot of weight shifting

i got the tailshaft fixed, and did a service on it yesterday. thanks anyway tho. =)

i just need the diff locked now. if someone can help me find someone that'd do it before the drift day, then i'll be in for sure. :P

no worries mate, just go to any workshop in your area and give em a case of beer or $50 to weld up the spider gears etc- only need to drain the oil, take off the diff cover plate, clean it out a bit with de greaser, weld it up, let it cool a bit and fill it up with oil again, shouldnt take more than 30-40 mins tops. Get it done today or saturday morning if u can coz shit will be closed on fri/sun
