hey sau.

ok i wouldnt normally post such a noobie question but its been egging at me for a while. so

What is the standard boost for a R32 GTR?

what boost am i running according to this gauge.?

(best pic i could get when on boost)

and how do u read the standard gauge?

Hmmm

the std GTR gauge reads in mm of mercury (no idea why?)

my understanding is that if you hit the 7, that's about 1 bar = ~15psi

by the look of this you are a little under that (~12psi) - is that what you get with the restrictor removed ?

std boost on a GTR is about 7-9 psi - right ?

GTR can take 14psi right..? thats standards.. wat can N1 items take?

Standard GTR turbos will make more than 14psi ( no worries there ) , the problem is how long for . It wont be long before the exhaust wheel flies off and maybe your engine with it .

N1's , depends on which N1's , there are so many different ones , I had no problem holding 1.4 bar all the way to 8k rpm with the Nismo GT N1's in a R33 GTR with a built engine .
