How Does Climate Control Work?

I recently puchased a '97 skyline r33 GTST. I was turing on the aircon through the auto button and everytime the fan blows on the maximum 4th speed no matter what temp its on, is it suppot to do this? What speed should it run on if its on 18degrees or if its on 32degrees? Cos it seems the same as me

Question: Is the "ambient temperature" the same as the set temperature? If not you have your answer. Auto will blow as hard as posible to bring the temp down to the set level then it will reduce the fan speed. If it doesnt, and your freezing your tits off, best get the sensors checked out.

yeah, it's because you're hotter than the temp it's set to. So it blasts as quick as possible to get the temp down. once it gets down to what you've set it to, it'll slow down
