Neutral Rpm For N/a Rb20de ?

My mechanic told me idle (when in neutral) RPM for a N/A RB20DE should be about 700, but mine is 900.

By the way I have a Apexi dual cone air filter on it so I dont know if it will affect anything??

What do you guys have yours running on and what is best for a RB20DE?

Depends, Mine idiles about 900 when its hot for some reason. When its cold its up about 1100. Normal is, well there should be a sticker that says what it should be idiling at. But about 600-750 is about normal.

I wouldn't worry too much if its idiling at 900 though, mine does it all the time and it really doesnt bother me.. Its funny to take off without having to use the throttle.. Show off your leet clutch skillz... @.@

check the lining under the bonnet. there should be a sticker where it says what idle is

where abouts under the bonnet does it show the idle? i checked but didnt find anything

if it's not there, then it's not there...

i'd agree with Rancher 600-750 is about normal
