subdolus
I've searched the forums but couldn't find a similar problem... I recently purchased a '93 R33 GTSt with a turbo timer and "Cyclops" Alarm system... Since I've had it, I haven't been able to lock the car properly while the turbo timer is counting down - the indicators flash (there is no beep tho), the doors lock, but as soon as the timer kills the engine, the doors unlock. After that, if I press the lock remote again it, locks, flashes, beeps, arms and wont unlock by itself again. If I just get out, shut the door and wait for the turbo timer to count down, the doors do not lock by themselves. So I'm basicly looking for a way to lock, imobilise, and arm the alarm WHILE the turbo timer is counting down and be sure it won't unlock itself when the engine dies. Hope I haven't lost you all on this haha, any ideas/links? DRD-00F
does the turbo timer and alarm have anything to do with each other, or are they seperate entities... if they are, its not gunna work too well, especially if you have a movement sensor with the alarm... other then that, i would get a pro to look at it, alarm systems are one thing i wont f**k around with... clakka
mine did the same thing...installed a second relay switch to 'trick' the alarm to think the car is turned off when it is actually still running...works a treat now Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/157705-silly-turbo-timer-vs-auto-lock-feature/#findComment-2939877 Share on other sites
