If your stupid enough to be racing on the streets then you deserve to be pumped by the cops.....

Another hidden tactic is ok im my eyes, if it saves one person from getting killed or one pedestrian from getting knocked over by a speeding car then it has worked effectively.....

You might hate the cops when your in a car, but what happens when someone is trying to break into your house? will you still hate them then?

And I live about 5 mins from a cop shop, house has been broken into, rung the cop shop "Uh were sorry we can't do anything for you, too bad", this even when I told them the guys were coming back. Then on an occasion they actually decided to show up, they came about 5 hours later...

I never said anything was good about the cops putting innocent lives at risk, if they are speeding or being total f**kwits then they arent helping anyone, but if their breaking up street racing, or busting people bagging it up at the lights then good on them... if they pullover and take one car off someone that is being a tard with a carload of people then good on them, saved a car load of people from being wrapped around a power pole...

I live nearish to a cop shop, when we have had trouble they arent allowed to come from the close one, they have to come from 20min away.... everyone has a sop story with the cops, dosent really bother me mate, i can see your pissed off so why dont u take it up with the police force rather than having an online winge...

Here's something that will help you understand how policing works under the current economic model the worlds goverments seem to like best:

* People who drive decent cars generally have money, therefore are able/likely to pay fines (through the threat of licence cancellation/rego suspension/the sherrif being sent 'round to collect their sh*t), therefore contributing to the economy.

on the other hand

*people who commit real crimes (like home invasions) are broke-ass centrelink scammers with no regard for the fabric of society, therefore are extremely unlikely/able to ever pay fines, therefore the bulk of policing efforts should be directed elsewhere. i.e where da money be at

i guess it's okay that they're trying to stop faggots killing eachother & more importantly innocent people but still, very shifty. easy to entice someone who prides themselves on the power of their car & obviously puts money into it. make it all seem legit then f**k em over. easy money & their boss tells them they're helping to clean up the streets. or in 'real' terms pay for that new speeding camera hidden in the bushes $$$$$.

even if you did catch them dragging eachother on video they'd just say they didn't know who it was or no it's not them. if anything they'd probably pin you for having your mobile out while driving the bastards haha.

I guess an R34 cop car would attract no less attention than the Lamborghini Cop Car around Bologna and Sant A'gata.

Saw a copper in a black Maloo near Pt Fairy getting his hand-held ready to poke thru his driver's window.

Saw Cop Cars along straight stretches of Kyushu but as you got closer, they were just marine ply cut-outs on trailers. Lolz

I keep saying it but they actually allow you to enjoy the car so long as you arent stupid.

I honesty believe that once restrictions become like a noose around a drivers neck, people resort to hooning, etc etc.

Japanese society and the police are quite accommodating when it comes to cars, driving fast and support the industry passionately and that in turn fosters a pretty good etiquette among all road users.

Ive had ZERO problems with the police the whole time here and that speaks volumes considering the amount of trouble i was in for little things like going 10kph over the limit and then having to go to court because the cop was lying and i wasnt going to stand for it.

Japan is a great place to own a performance car.

I've seen a red XR8 with a sticker on the back window saying either 'sport', or 'performance' or something suitably stupid enough to make people think it was some 40 year old bogan midlife crisis mobile, which was undercover, as well as a blue XR6 which pulled up an R34 GT-T and had 2 detectives start to search it and the owner at Autobarn one night with a crowd of us watching. The ultra sneaky part of that was the fact that VIC cops tend to be Holden exclusive and the NSW Ford exclusive, at least here.

Cops here are quite predictable thankfully and tend to target lowered and loud falcondores for easy defects / impoundments, the sneakiest i've seen apart from civvie camera cars was when they were using their unmarked VZ executive when most of the fleet has been changed over to VE now.

A Skyline cop car sounds a little far fetched though.

I dont know how well the fines would standup in the court of law. Police looking for street racers to race DUMB . It takes 2 to tango , they would have more affect if they police marked cars.

The better man is the man who backs down, and he will get to live longer. As what been said in this topic racing is only for the track.
