chasing the larger exhaust housing for the standard rb25det turbo that comes on the r34 neo engine and also the vg30.

come across a vg30 turbo that is a VATN....Varaible Aperture Turbine Nozzles.

now is this going to work if i get it hiflowed bolt if onto my rb25det??

I have never seen a vg30 with vatn. Is it a factory unit? or has it been modified/created aftermarket?

I have just aquired a VG30 rear housing for my stock turbo which will be highflowed shortly.

If you go the VG option make sure you get the one with the OP6 rear housing.They are found on the single turbo VG30DETs.

Using that larger housing will give some top end flow potential. Any ideas what spec cartridges or impellers you will be using? I'd like to follow things along.

not 100% sure, but the seller gives the imporession that it is a factory unit fro a later model z32

It has a three bolt exhaust manifold fitting and a three bolt compressor inlet with a 2" compressor outlet. Compressor AR is marked as .53, Exhaust AR is marked as .64.

will this fit??

I think that one sounds like the last of the turbos used on the leopard.Does it have an internal wastegate?If not it won`t work.These turbos are designed for maximum torque and won`t work for your application.You may have been looking at the one on e-bay.
