i wouldnt go anthing second hand dude... if your only chasin say 450 hp go for the bosch 040 fuel intank fuel pump which you can buy from slidingperformance.com for $ 239 delivered

good luck mate

Hey PM Babia, he just upgraded his fuel pump, as he upgraded his turbo, so he may still have his old one. (was only done this month, and i beleive the old pump was still working properly)

Came out of a '94 R33 gtst, he is located in Melbourne.

the 33 pump is diferant in how it mounts up. but.. you definatly willl be able to make it fit. you just need to find some submersable fuel hose to extend the pickup down to the bottom of the tank.

basicly coping the nismo/hks "direct fit" pump.

bit hard to explain without pictures but you WILL be able to fit it :D

The gtr pump can be used. I was just saying, it isn't a 2 second bolt in job. You will have to do a tiny bit of work, but it's not hard.

I also do not like the bosch pumps. The bosch's don't have a pickup, so you can't use the fuel in the bottom of the tank.

also, this means that you're more likely to fuel surge.

Also, without the pickup, there is no filter, so you suck all the shit through the pump, into your fuel system etc.

My friends cars have had nothing but problems with the bosch pumps. Went to gtr pumps with no problems at all.

T04GTR/Manwhore: Never read more bullshit in my life :D

I know 4 ppl in the club that have been running these pumps for years without ANY drama. Maybe you should question the installation and not the pump. The 040 pump does not have a remote pick-up/filter, but does have a filter at the base of the pump. I agree that there are issues with surge and running out of petrol b4 the tank is empty, but don't run the car to empty and it will be fine.

I personally use the Bosche 044, mounted externally near my surge tank. Apart from being a little loud, i have had no problem over the last 2+yrs and i know many more cars using this same set-up.
