Rb25de Box To Rb20det

hey all just asking around to see if anyone has fitted a rb25de gearbox to a 32 rb20det at all. was wondering if the tailshaft has to be modified like the rb25det box and also getting a mixed opinion on the 33 non turbo box to the 33 turbo. they are different right

yeah there the same. just swap the speedo drives over.

so i would keep the speedo drive off existing rb20 box and put on rb25de box

just put another turbo box in or bite the bullet and put the turbo 25 box in its not that hard and much stronger

ive got a mate with a dr30, he has rb20 with rb25de box, everything lines up sweet except his speedo, thats just cause its old school you shouldnt have a worry.

how does your mates box go behind the rb20. immjust guessing but wouldnt a rb25de box be in better nic than the rb20det cause less pressure on the box due to it being naturally aspirated
