Hi All,

I've currently got a Jim Berry 'full monty' clutch in my R33 (have had it for close to a year) and have recently noticed a short squeal type noise just as I release the clutch on take off.

Anyone got any ideas on what may be causing this?

The clutch is definately not slipping and there is no noticeable difference in performance (it's still great). I just get a little paranoid when I start hearing new noises and don't have a clue what's causing them...

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I have heard of this type of noise before (not from your type of clutch though) and if it happens on above normal rpm launches it is actually the friction material used in the clutch disc. However I could'nt say for sure without hearing it, could be squeaky fork/pivot points?????

Hope this helps

Matt.

mine did that after i put the new clutch in it. it was the throw out bearing! it may be the same thing. I swapped the bearing, and now after 10k, the new one has started doin it when the pedal is half way out!
