turbo back exhaust is the way to go.....

Depends on your car and also brand of catback etc.

I found a Apexi 3" Catback system starting at $750 not fitted.. but for a R34 GTT Sedan they wanted $899.. it was thru - guess you have a R32 gtst they dont actually fit after i wrote all that so cant be bothered to delete it...

TRUST Power Extreme II - Fits all R32 models $879 not fitted.

$900 is a reasonable price for a turbo back.

Stainless or Mild? I'd assume Mild.

Nothing wrong with mild. Doesn't look as flashy and lasts 5-10years.

If I were to do it again from the start I would drop a 3.5" system on it with large twin mufflers (center and rear) to keep the noise down a little. Canons are as loud as crap, try to avoid them unless you want the milo tin look.

Becarefull of 'some' of the jap mufflers as they taper down inside. Which obviously restricts exhaust flow.

pm batmbl about his front/dump pipe and cat converters - they are the best. Then get a cat back of your choice. Bit more expensive than the 900 (i think mine was around 1400) - but the power gains and response was unreal.

What about if you mix n match your bits?

like get your dump/ front pipe from somewhere, i know they're pretty cheap now...

then get your preferred cat converter.... then your cat back system...?

might work out cheaper? or not lol
