Had my car in today for its run in tune. Basically with the rebuild put a Q45afm on it. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. It would be fine driving upto and cruising at 60km/hr (all this done on the dyno) then soon as the car is backed off the afm voltage goes high causing heaps of fuel to be dumped in there, and problem is worse with the harder acceleration is done. My tuner thinks that the intake pipe my be too short causing turbulence (4" stainless pipe round 10"long from gt3040). He is going to try a longer intake pipe he has there 2moro but just curious myself as to what it could be, i really dont wanna get another afm thats all im worried about.

this was covered some time ago

do a search about 6 months

look for sydneykid compressor chuffing shuffling

and you should be able to find it

the fix seems to be varying the intake piping

or putting a single bend in the pipework just before the afm
