am i going to get detonation or a higher amount of pinging or is this going to be OK.

Ocassionally spiking to 12-14psi (it's just a boost tap and $ 50 gauge

It's in a Stagea and from what i have heard stock stagea ecu's run rich and like a dog anyway so i think she should be ok...

it will be alright, you just get alot of power loss, and shabby power curve. which always brings you back to why bother trying to run more boost at all.

if you want performance get an ecu and be done with it, i say.

power loss???...bwahahaha...it's fantastic! sure, the power curve probably looks like shieet but she has plenty more go after 2500 rpm than before! Before when you stalled her up you got this huge amount of lag untill you hit 'high boost mode' from the factory solenoid...it was craptacular

exhaust and computer will come after tax-back too...i just need moolah.

It should be fine in terms of pinging. As to how much power you make, that depends.

Once you go above the airflow that the ecu recognises, it goes ultra rich and retards timing to about 8-9 degrees. Keep in mind that you idle at about 10 degrees, so that means once you hit r + r, you get shitall power
