cams for an r32 gtr

Hello from Okinawa, Japan. I have an R32 GTR and want to upgrade the cams since I'm putting on a new metal head gasket. I know I can only use step one cams if I don't want to upgrade the valves themselves, but I just don't know the specs of the step one compared to the others. Thanks!

Hi jla_doc, timing is irrlelevant to whether or not the head needs to be machined. It is the lift that makes that necessary. Generally spreaking, lift less than 10 mm does not require machining.

cool thanks! any suggestions on what size head gasket i should get? should i just stick to the 1.2 mm normal thickness? Thanks.

Hi jla_doc, I don't like thick headgaskets, they cause other problems.
