hi guys,

Haveing some problems with the fuel delivery to my engine. Engine wasn't starting the other day, so after reading some threads about people who had the same problem i came to the conclusion that it is something to do with the fuel system, i therefore checked to see if any fuel came out of the fuel filter (filter was just replaced a month ago) when the engine was cranked...nothing. I have located the relay where the ECU is and the one in the boot, how exactly do i go about checking them to see if there the problem? Any other things i can do to check what it is that is wrong????

cheers.

had same problem awhile back with in my S2 33...no fuel getting to engine. checked fuses and relay all fine turned out fuel pump had died. they seem to pack up shop alot in skylines so im thinking it will be the pump.

take the fuel pump out which is under the floor on the right side of the boot.....

see if there is any voltage getting to it, and when you turn the ignition on you should hear it prime the lines and buzz away, if 1 there is no voltage then it might be a relay...

or the common cause is the fuel pump has died... there is voltage but no action....

Get a new pump if its the 2nd one

Ya get a new bigger better one!!!! I had this problem - my car was broke for days while I tried to figure out what was wrong. We pulled the pump and replaced with a 550. Now is great! :)

O, if you do get a bigger one don't forget an FPR or computer will be in order after a while.
