Os Giken Close Ratio Gear Set, What Are The Ratios?

Anyone got the list of ratios the OS Giken clsoe ratio gear kit comes with please? Will it alos fit the R33 GTS-t casing, as well as the 4 wd casing of the GTR? Thanks.

The 5 spd GTR gearset ratios are:

1st 2.695 2nd 1.703 3rd 1.236 4th 1.000 5th 0.826

Thanks, that's exactly the info I needed. Do you use one? What do you think of the kit? Any issues? It will be going in a RWD GTS-t with about 650 BHP. It won't be doing drag starts, just track days, but on slicks.

No probs, no I don’t use one yet but I do intend to once the engine is all sorted in the gtr. I have noticed that a lot of jap cars seem to use them for all sorts of mischief. The gears in the kit are supposedly rated to 1200HP but because it uses standard sincros OSGiken don’t recommend using it for over 800hp

The synchros only help the gears to engage. If you are gentle with gear shift you won't hurt the synchro. If are not gentle then it's a matter of pulling it out and replacing it

Still a better option and less expensive than replacing dogs/gears.
