Well, they may be falcodore sports sedans, but they are the top level of motorsport in Aus.

So lets get talking crap about them

My cold tip for the year is the young uns will continue to shake up the more established drivers....witness Courtney on Pole for tomorrow.

And that everyone will continue to put sh1t on Rick Kelly.

PS Neil no talking about winterbum, and Gary no Tander. That should keep it civil for the year

Keep it civil,,,are you kidding.

My prediction for this weekend is

1 Frosty

2 Courtney

3 Tander

Ricky gets punted by oh lets see maybe Russell and is seen running to mum crying his little gay eyes out. Mum says its okay son we'll just buy you another one son. But mum I want what Todd's got.

Neil.

spent some time down in the PCR garage over the last few days and its interesting to hear about the 888 chassis. the DJR engineers where in there speaking to JB's head engineer and were saying that 888 don't run any cool suits or venting in the cars!!!!! both DJR and PCR had to make modifications to fit the cooling systems in

almost two hundred laps and not one off them managaed to pick up a fare...can I have my Sunday afternoon back. :(

On a sad note "gentleman" Jim Richards has decided to retire from Supertaxis. The man who gave us the imortal quote, "your a pack of bastards" and added to the Godzilla ledgend will probably be missed...or not

Did anyone other than myself notice Bargwanna park his 15 lap down car on the track with 10 laps to go, so the safety car could be deployed to allow his fellow ford driver Courtney to catch up to Kelly. Id like to see the telemetry from that car to prove my point.

Even if it was something to do with it, who cares, If the Holden wankers like Tander could do stupid shit a PI end of last year then why can they do it!, I was hoping Rick would catch up to Todd and then take each other out!

And yes i can't believe Ricks balls still havn't dropped, THIS IS A JOKE ;)

    • Yep, there's a very minor drift left that happens a few seconds after letting go of the steering wheel, but not enough to bother me. Enjoying the car still!

    • Sounds good.  I don't 100% understand what your getting at here. When you say, "I keep seeing YouTube videos where people have new paint and primer land on the old clearcoat that isn't even dulled down" do you mean this - there is a panel with factory paint, without any prep work, they paint the entire panel with primer, then colour then clear?  If that's what you mean, sure it will "stick" for a year, 2 years, maybe 3 years? Who knows. But at some stage it will flake off and when it does it's going to come off in huge chunks and look horrific.  Of course read your technical data sheet for your paint, but generally speaking, you can apply primer to a scuffed/prepped clear coat. Generally speaking, I wouldn't do this. I would scuff/prep the clear and then lay colour then clear. Adding the primer to these steps just adds cost and time. It will stick to the clear coat provided it has been appropriately scuffed/prepped first.  When you say, "but the new paint is landing on the old clearcoat" I am imagining someone not masking up the car and just letting overspray go wherever it wants. Surely this isn't what you mean?  So I'll assume the following scenario - there is a small scratch. The person manages to somehow fill the scratch and now has a perfectly flat surface. They then spray colour and clear over this small masked off section of the car. Is this what you mean? If this is the case, yes the new paint will eventually flake off in X number of years time.  The easy solution is to scuff/prep all of the paint that hasn't been masked off in the repair area then lay the paint.  So you want to prep the surface, lay primer, then lay filler, then lay primer, then colour, then clear?  Life seems so much simpler if you prep, fill, primer, colour then clear.  There are very few reasons to go to bare metal. Chasing rust is a good example of why you'd go to bare metal.  A simple dent, there is no way in hell I'm going to bare metal for that repair. I've got enough on my plate without creating extra work for myself lol.
