I wasn't after anything flashy and wanted to keep some usable boot space so I fibreglassed up a box and mounted the amp next to the fuesbox and battery. Really need to retrim the rest of the boot though now as the subbox puts the rest of the trim to shame

This probably won't help you much as you have 2 subs and amps but you never know.

Im from Bendigo (in central Vic)

actually ordered my stuff through autobarn. tryed a couple of other local audio places and was disapointed with their service. so i took a list of my quotes in and said beat it. about 30 minutes of going through catalogues and a few diff quote options later my choice was made. The Pioneer dvd player and the DD 4 channel amp had arrived last time i went in. just awaitin the rest. haha so impatient.

moved my batt to the side walls, mounted the hicas ecu to the side of the sub box, moved fuse box to a better fixed point behind amp but next to hicas ecu and done. box made to suit, if u want 1 done i can help y out if u in melb. any questions just ask.

oh forgot to mention, 10" sub pretty much is the only one that will fit this way, 12 is a real squeeze and will require more work.

pm me if u have q's or want a hand

Is there any chance of mounting the subwoofer down into the spare tire hold and inverting the spare tire and using a small raiser to fit a lower profile 12 inch? IMO you cant beat using a sub box that is properly ported for the sub itself, but I do fancy the Idea of having the sub mounted on the floor side of the boot.

Here's what i did in mine, used the tyre well as an enclosure for the subs... its good this way coz u still keep your boot space...

The PDX digital amps are awesome...very compact and pump out some very good power and can be stacked to reduce space used (depending on your install). Had it shown at the F1 and cranked it a bit too much...blew the fuse, so now have no power to the cap and amps >_< gonna replace the fuse over the weekend.
