Hey everyone. I just joined this club as i am interested in the skyline v35 350gt coupe and need to ask a few questions.

1. Can any of u who own this car name any good/bad points of this car.

2. Where can i obtain information of this car (specs, features etc) as i cannot read japanese on the jap nissan site.

3. What are the different models (if any) on this car? The base model, top of the range etc etc and the options/extras included on them.

4. How do i import one here and what processes of importing are involved since i have never imported a car before.

5. Is there a v36 coupe model?

Thanks alot everyone and much help would be greatly appreciated

1. Good points

- Very refined overall (competitor to 3 series coupe) with excellent interior and options.

- Very good engine, excellent response and decent mileage.

Bad points

- May not be as fast as some would like

- Doesn't handle as well as R series Skylines

- Some say it's ugly

- Very little aftermarket support in Australia / Expensive to modify

2. http://www.g35driver.com Huge amount of information there about G35s which are the American version of the V35 350GT. Some stuff may not apply to the V35 but generally you'll find lots of useful information there.

3. For the coupe, there are 3 versions I know of Premium, Non-Premium and 70th Anniversary

Premium has all the goods such as Bose audio system, satnav etc. Very few Non-Premiums were made.

70th Annivesary has everything Premium has except it has full cream leather interior as opposed to the standard black leather/suede interior

Extras are numerous to list. Including things like reverse camera, corner cameras, bigger wheels, CD changer, foglights etc

Also manual 350GT Coupes before 2005 come with Brembos.

After 2005 manual and auto had the same standard brakes.

4. Goto http://www.j-spec.com.au and enquire there.

5. Most likely coming in 2008 or late 2007.

That's debatable, if we're talking about 2WD Skylines.

It'll never outcorner a GT-R, but that's hardly a fair comparison. Against a 2WD coupe, it'll do quite well. You will notice the weight, but the suspension setup itself is quite well sorted from the factory. Like the Z33, for street use it only really needs new swaybars to cut down on the bodyroll. Coilovers, as always, are a nice bonus but the gain in handling isn't as great as with older Nissans.

Thanks alot. That was alot of help ;). One more question. Does it have a sunroof? oh and also to any owners of this car...how is the fuel consumption? how many L per 100km?

Yes a sunroof was an option - albeit an uncommon one.

My one come with sunroof which is very rare.

About the fuel:

around sydney city for daily way to work with a lot of start and stop about 15-16L

in High way from sydeny to Wollongong, about 10-11L(a lot of uphill when back to sydney and lots of breaks when downhills, F**k Camry every where)

I believe if go to canberra will down to 9L/100km
