Funny Flickering Noise?

after installing a boost controller (AVCR) at RE Customs, i now have this funny flickering noise when im hitting boost. sounds kinda cool at first but now its annoying. Ray which is the manager there ensures me that all turbo cars make that sound. i never heard it in my life honestly but the guys well respected so i just left it.

talking to a few mates later on they havnt heard it either, they said it sounds like the wastegate is constently opening and closing.

any idea wdh it is guys?

I THINK u have the same prob as my mate...he boosted up his car and it started flickering.

could it be the bost solenoid. i heard they tick.

if its a tick clikering noise. deffinatelly 98% sure its the apex boost solenoid. nothing but whats ahead of you worry bout. boost working

why does the apexi boost solenoid make this noise? any way to get rid of it?

mine only ticks when i turn the car on or off. 1 tick noise. apexi boost control unit from the avc-r, if yours is constantly ticking i guess urs could be faulty?.. check it out.

This is completely normal for Apexi boost controllers.

The tick is the actuator doing its job controlling boost pressure.
