G'day,

I unplugged my SAFC2 today at the plug in the harness and the ecu went into limp mode (2500rpm rev limit, etc, etc.)

i tried resetting the ecu by disconnecting the battery negative terminal and depressing the brake pedal heaps, but made no difference when i started it again.

car in question is a series 2 R33.

any ideas would be appreciated

cheers, Bart.

Did u unplugg it at the harnes plug or did u unwire everything? possible a loos wire soem where dodgy connetion?

your AFM input to the computer is not complete, on the SAFC this wire needs to be cut for the unit to work, rejoin this wire and you should be right, or alternativly, bridge out the pins in the plug where the two wires joined to the AFM wire are
