how responsive are the xr6t's to bolt on upgrades?

The Xr6T should be slightly quicker.

XR6T run 10x better shock/spring setup than a 33 or 34 and kill them because of it..

a Skyline with a few basic mods with coils or after market shocks/spring and new ECU upgraded boost and you get the idea... XR6T (from what ive heard) with similar mods cannot keep up... But shit they sound meaty..

theres a place in sydney that sell a package for about 4k that will give you 300rwkw (manual)

i believe it was an exhaust, hi flowed injectors, and a tune. cant rememebr the other little things, might have been a pump upgrade too

have driven a few of these.... they are bloody quick. especially the Typhoon....... they don't feel as fast as my skyline, but take a glance down at the speedo and it certainly was......

pretty heavy though. be interesting to see how they would fair on a nice twisty piece of road...... My Skyline just loves the twisty stuff....

My mate and i go for drives all the time he owns a 6speed one and i beat him all the time to 120km,then he overtakes,my other mates 34 also beats him to 100km.The bad thing about the XRs is the 1800kg kerb weight.Hard to get off the line,they just wheelspin,but on the freeway is a different matter,both drop back a gear to 4th and he smashes me.
