R34s & A-pillar Tweeters

I have seen a couple of R34 sedans and they both have a tweeter in the bottom of the a-pillar, but I was wondering whether

- Do all R34 sedans have them?

- Do any R34 coupes have them?

Any info appreciated...

I just noticed that the R34 coupe you made the mould in for the gauge pod doesn't, might be some issues there..

I just noticed that the R34 coupe you made the mould in for the gauge pod doesn't, might be some issues there..

The single gauge pod for the R34 clears the tweeter, so it is suitable for any R34 (sedan or coupe). The double however does not clear the tweeter so a slightly modifed R34 double gauge pod will have to be prototyped.

The reason for this tread is to determine exactly which cars my gauge pods will fit correctly.

My coupe has them, but I am sure that not all do.

no not all have them. Factory option depending on what sound system you got I believe. I have seen coupes and sedans that have them and don't have them.

i have them... but my friend doesn't..

My car has them, GTT coupe. The rear speaker covers have a badge saying "nissan holographic sound" if that helps... not sure if all r34's have that either

There were 3 specs of audio for the 2 doors.

povo 4 speakers, 8 speakers and deluxe with satnav.
