Hi guys,

Sorry if this is a silly question, but although I know what GT-R stands for - Gran Tourismo Racer...was wondering if someone can please tell me what GTS-T stands for?

I've heard rumours it stands for something like, Gran Tourismo Standard Turbo?? Please explain...

Many thanks....

Lastly, are GTS-T Turbo SKylines known for their speed/power?

Grad Tourismo Racer hey? I havent heard that before. interesting.

I just figured GTS was the base model and the -t was for the Turbo variant.

The R32 was the only Skyline to get the GTS-t name too I believe as the R33 was the GTS25t and the R34 got GT-t.

im sure its been plugged before but an awesome source for the history an evolution on the line: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Skyline

i never knew that RB stood for 'race bred' i swear i lean so much more on this and other sites than at uni.

Found this but not sure how true it is.........

Engine codes :- RB (Race Bred) 20 (2000cc) D (double (twin) cam) E (electronic fuel injection) T (turbo (TT twin turbo)), so now you know what's a RB26DETT ?, yep you guessed it's very fast ! and lot more money.
