http://www.bitdistribution.com.au/?stg=49

this is a site when i was flicking through a mates 4x4 magazine.

i have also seen an e-bay auction selling something similar.

it's something i'd be interested in one day as I already have a 7" screen.

my mate did it in his commonwhore a few years back...

personally, i feel there are somethings that just shouldnt be in cars... how long do you sit in the car doing nothing if you have a computer in it???

im against them... they are a good idea and all that, but i just dont like em... i have enough shit like that in the car already...

I know Randy i've seen most of them and tried them, but this is the "ultimate" car pc. I haven't found a faults or bugs yet and it does everything including engine management system fuel pressure, manifold pressure, rpm, timing etc it can even clear some errors in the vehicle own computer that you would normally have to go to an authorised repairer to fix such as ABS light problem and AIR BAG problems.

I suppose time will tell on this products' durability and reliability so we'll just have to wait and see. :ninja:

Ah ok! Nice one!

What kind of pricing can we expect?

(btw, got my alarm fitted through you/security in motion... still very happy!)

  • 2 weeks later...

It inst too difficult to build your own car pc. All you need to to buy a 12v PSU to replace the 240V ATX unit in the standard case (and find somewhere good to hide/mount it). That way you can have a powerful computer, not just some piece of crap integrated graphics chipset ULV computer.
