turbo for R33 3L

What would be a good turbo configuration on the R33

with 3L block.

Engine has been prepared for 500HP+

I need a turbo to suit, something that will deliver good results around the track/circuit...ie.minimal lag.....must be capable of 300rwkw.

I know the GT35R is the way to go...but I don't plan on spending near 3k(inc w/gate).

If you don't want to spend 3k on a turbo + wastegate then buy 2nd-hand.

I'd go for a GT30 series turbo, good top-end power, nice response, especially with 3L.

go a hks 3037 or 3040.

what have u prepped in the engine?

forgies, titanium valve springs, ported head, new bigger duration cams, short penned rods, nitrided crank?

Their stage 2 will make 300rwkw on a 3L no problems.

Full boost apparently is also around the 3500rpm mark on a RB25 with VCT.
