Quick Question Re Jacking Point.

Is it safe to set a trolley jack under the rear diff housing on a 33.

it's abit dodgy, but i use the tow hooks to get it up, and use axle stands.

would never leave it jacked on the tow hook for extended periods.

yeah definately on stands but jacking it up i couldnt find a nice spot

yeh it does abit, so i just put a thin plank of rood going across the rails. because it only dints in the middle. so the plank/block of wood spreads the weight.

i guess a thin bit of metal that won't flex should do a similar job.

jacking it from under the front go to the crossmember, id be putting your jack stands underneath your sills if you can, depends on if you have a body kit which may be a little trickier.
