Adjustable Cam Gears On Ebay.

Hey guys,

I found these cam gears on eBay but not too sure about them.....Are cam gears just cam gears or are they all different? With the 1st link (Spool Brand) they say it has 1 degree of adjustment and the 2nd link (Arospeed) Im pretty sure it has 2 degrees of adjustment, so im assuming that the Spool branded ones might be a little more accurate to tune in (but then again i no nothing about cam gears!)

What are your thoughts on these cam gears......Thanks.

i saw a thread on here with people saying they had good results with the arospeed, but that they all have a small design flaw on them, which is that the Retard and Advance markings are backwards....

i found hks cam gears on th u.s.a ebay for like $260 usd if im gona buy ill stick with a trusted name brand etc hks

There is no rocket science to camgears, although the earlier HKS ones were known to slip or strip the bolts. It all comes down to the tuner, although some marks help, 1deg marks are no better than 2 deg.

I think i'll stick with a good brand even if they cost a little more.

Group Buy section - Arospeed cam gears.

I can say they are just as good as any, fantastic quality. Bought and used on my GTR and tuned with no worries.

With HKS and tomei etc you pay for the name and theyre not worth it at all, theres just no need.

A shitload of other people on here will tell you the same thing about the Arospeed gears how good they are.

hey thanks guys.....yeh i should have looked up in the group buy section! i would have found out about arospeed cam gears! but i ended up buyin the spool ones lastnight....all well hopefully they are just as good.....
