Heildleberg has its dodgy side and its nice side, so does Watsonia and Ivanhoe... Rosanna is pretty clean though.

Eaglemont has nice big trees, so does Ivanhoe I think.

It's a little further out, but I think Eltham is really nice. It's nice and suburban, but still nice and.. leafy?

I was looking in Rosanna, Watsonia, Ivanhoe, Macleod around that area and will have max of $350,000 to spend. Will be looking for a 3 bedroom with garage

lol. Good luck finding a 3 BR place in Ivanhoe for that $! BYO beige Volvo too. Bit pricey there. Maybe a chance in the other mentioned areas. Just avoid Reservior. Seen too many news clips on drive-bys and stabbings/shootings. Aaaargh!

yeah borgs been looking at units/apartments in the Port Melbourne area, just have to wait to find out salary before i can look seriously as i don't think i'll be able to afford th 2000pw penthouses

yeh your right it is a little pricey now....but im sure if you take your time to look around you'll find somthing....if not Port, st Kilda is a pretty funky suberb.

But yeh as i stated ive never lived anywere else in Melb but Port so im a little bias. lol
