Standard Ecu?

Just popped ecu out of my r32 rb20det and say this. Is this a factory ecu?

Well its if a factory ecu ,but not factory tuned ,look to be mines tuned one,

and would appear to have been untouched since.

ussally they have boost cut/R&R removed and speedlimter that sort of thing

and are tuned for mild mods , full exhausts ,pods, sometimes fuel, cooler etc.

but either way you are lucky ,you will have more midrange and better power over

stock ecu, and its already set for many mods, depending if you already have them.

probably tuned with higher octane fuel that we have in australia too..

put the car on the dyno and see what the AFR's are like and make sure it is not pinging. you will find mines tunes are really rich infact usually 10:1 or even richer.

if i give it some gas and back off sometimes hear fuel popping in my exhaust. Popping kind of sound.

How can i tell if its pinging other than using dyno? Is there any physical traits? Sounds?
