Question About Climate Control

I was just wondering, if you start with an S1 that has the TV touch screen climate control. Are you able to remove the TV and plug in the single DIN climate control? Or is the wiring totally different?

I guess you would have to compare the plugs going into both? I wouldnt think the wiring _just_ for the climate control would be different per say, but does the touchscreen have any other features that you woul dloose by changing it to the single DIN CC in?

If you could plug the single din unit in directly then that would be a perfect swap if you want to ditch the factory Navi/TV unit, maybe check the manual, that should show different options and connections... The Navi/TV unit does NTSC TV (not Australian format) and Sat Nav (Japan only) so that's all you will be missing, stuff that doesn't work...
