Annodizing In Qld

my father-in-law wants to get some stuff annodized for his hot rod. does anyone here know where in SE qld does it? i know you can get the paint that loks like it, but he wants it doen properly.

Id be calling a body shop for direction/advice...

They would know who does it...

However there is a place at Geebung with does chrome and brass and nikel dipping, im sure they would know a thing or two about your needs...

Just did a Google on DIY Anodizing. Might give it a go

yeah, its not hard... just have to wear gloves etc as sulphuric acid & caustic soda are corrosive, and will burn/eat your skin

when it comes to hot rods people are generally pretty picky. the old boy got all his chrome stuff done properly so it wouldn't flake after 12 months, so i don't think he will want a DIY job for his annodozing.

Yellowpages had anodiser listings last time i needed one.
