You should be able to just load the games straight onto ur xbox. I got a chip from gamefix around 2-3 years ago that allows me to put a game in, and rip it's contents onto the hard drive and play it whenever i want without the disk. I have a mass storage of roughly 160games, and I've filled it up lol. SHould be very cheap to get done nowadays.

TO do this you need to donwload a p2p program to connect up your xbox to your pc.

Connect your xbox to your pc obviously through a network cable. Place the game in the xbox and using p2p program (you must obtain your xbox's ip address to connect) connect to the xbox. Access the dvdrom on the xbox and copy all the data to your hard drive. This takes the longest ammount of time.

Once this is done you must create a ISOX file. This is so it is bootable on the xbox. Just look for an ISOX program which are normally run in dos format and just zip it up for you.

Last but not least burn the ISOX image using nero and your done.

Ok. Sky do you have Nero 7? If so, create a DVD video and add you movie file and burn it off. Use a DVD+R, DVD-R is standalone DVD player readable. Some comps can read them, but use DVD+R and it will work on DVD player if you follow what i wrote :P

Now for the .bin and .cue files. Use daemon tools to mount these, this will create a virtual drive. Go to my computer and there should be a new drive in the now that wasn't there before. Go into it, then find the video file (Usually in MPEGV i think its called). Now copy that movie onto the desktop then use what i said about burning the dvd above and it will work on a DVD player.

Yeh. Nero also enables you to change the file to PAL though. All our DVD players are PAL, and sometimes files are NTSC, so nero enables you to change it to PAL for dvd players.

So just use your convertX and just follow my daemon tool guide and ull be all good.

does anyone know if 360's can be modded yet?

There is a dvdrom firmware hack that fools the xbox360 that a 'genuine' game has been inserted - where infact its a backup.

All you need to do is pull apart you xbox360 (voids warantee) and flash your xbox360's drive with the hacked firmware. There are plenty of tutorials around to step you through the process - but its all pretty easy.

The easiest way to get games for ur chipped xbox is to use a prog call Qwix. It's free and piss easy.

Just d/l an xbox game iso off torrenspy or whereever u d/l u stuff from. once it's download connect ur xbox to ur PC with a network cable. open Qwix and load the ISO file and click Go. all done in like 10mins (depending on ISO size).

This is illegal, and suprised no one has closed this thread..... but just to clear some stuff up :P

Use DVD-R's, XBOX designed to read -R's, may read +R's but you could be degrading the quality of its dvd drive if you excessively use DVD+R's. (PS2's use DVD+R) And for the love of god don't use laser DVD's. They suck more than you'd think.

You use a connector cable, not a network cable to connect the two.

I use programs like Smart FTP to link the xbox to the PC. Mind you - turn your internet off when you use this program. It opens ports and makes your computer more suseptable to hackers, malware, etc.

For burning - Power DVD I think is the best program out there. Nero is fine also, when burning make sure your speed is slow, 2x, or 4x max.

Do not burn games to your stock HDD, use a larger one. This does void Microsofts' warranty mind you. If you burn it to your stock HDD, it works a few times but can make your XBOX crash and ultimately screw your XBOX's chipped operating software. Then you'll need to whipe your HDD, and freshly install a new copy :(

For more in depth info go to http://www.copying-xbox-games.com/

Ps. I don't condone burning XBOX games

When i said get a bigger HDD and copy the games directly to it i meant the XBOX HDD, not the PC, ive got a program on my XBOX that will let me load any XBOX game onto the XBOX's HDD. I thought these programs were standard once your box is chipped?!?!

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
