Gtr 32 1/4 Mile Time

with gtr gearboxes and power, iv heard they dont mix... when drag racing.. A customer of CREATD motorsports has a 10second gtr, has broken a few gtr boxes, OS GIKEN gearsets (3 or so) and is now using a fitzner dog box with a tripple plate clutch..

That statement stands for any application though, excess power with stock driveline material. Obviously with GTR being AWD its more dynamic

i can say different... XCHASR vl turbo. 10.6 with a standard MX7

the MSA/CREATD r33.. 380 or so kw 10.6 with standard 25 box..

but every gearbox has a weak side, that gearbox broke input shaft after input shaft.

Leewah's GTR did a a lot of passes with the OS box, never broke it once with a lot more than 380rwkw

I put boxes failing down to the drivers fault

if you baby a box like in XCHASR then you should b ok.

add another 150-200hp then you have what leewah did and never had a problem

Its all about a little mechanical sympathy.

You dont need to be flat changing and smashing gears to run a good time
