If you want a quick sale, lower the price. Like Warwick said 17k would be a good starting price to work down from. Get rid of it before July 1st when all the teen racers can no longer buy skylines....then prices will drop further and 17k will seem like a dream price.

Id just like to quickly remind people of a little rule the forsale forum has...

"2. No price debates - put simply if you do not agree with the price being asked, do not comment on the thread. If you believe the seller is asking too much then either pm the thread starter or dont buy the items advertised - simple."

It might be too much, but its not your car, and its not your money.

Agreed.

Nice pickup Dave.

What the?

This is my car. I owe no one any money for anything on this car. Never have and never will.

So how anyone came to any conclusion that its not my car is far beyond me.

Settle down John, I think the statement above was in your defence for comments made by KEEGS. :P

And to Mud, if you agree maybe clean up the topic...

Your getting a pretty good deal with the amount of mods already done to this car!!!!!

Open to reasonable offers.

    • This, honestly, is entirely BMW life. There's so many little things that once you know about you are either more relaxed or more uptight! 馃ぃ Fwiw (and slightly in my defence) our X5 has been flawless! The biggest issue we've had was problems with the front diff which ended up with a 2k rebuild but other than regular servicing with good oil and filters we've had no out of the ordinary costs or problems. it's been amazing and we've put 90k on it over about 5 years.  It's just the other two. The problem kids.
    • The more I think about it, the more I should probably go with a genuine Bride seat and rail set up. But damn the $$$ for a driver and passenger seat + rails!
    • From what I understand, stock internals should hold out for a while even if you run 500 at the crank, no? Especially if you don't run a modern turbo setup that reaches power and torque much earlier than the original twins. My engine isn't unopened either, it has N1 Pumps, head oil restrictor, new crank and cams, new piston rings, ARP head studs and Cometic headgasket along with 2860-5s. Considering everything is healthy this should run fine for a while I assume. Once my engine stops leaking shit everywhere, it'll be tuned to 370 crank first anyway, because I need to legalize the turbo setup. If I end up needing a new engine because my block actually has an issue, even though GTSboy was adamant that the whole porous block story is nonsense, before putting an engine in I'm probably gonna take care of the weakspots.
    • Hah, I have no issues with what you are doing whatsoever! You clearly know what you are getting yourself into. It's just funny reading things like this. "What's that noise?" "Oh, that's normal. That's just the engine not getting any oil. Nothing to worry about. It'll go away in a moment"
