As discusions from the last sunday cruise that i organised, its time to be different.

Regular Meeting Place: Crazy Clarks Springwood

Time: At this moment 12:00pm for 12:45 Depart

Im hoping to get these two different photos in of style at the place at least one will work fine the other is space dependand at this stage, Also i will present people with another offer here as well. But details of this will be mentioned outside here ;)

Destination:

1. From here first stop is yatala BP for those that need/want food or fuel

2. Head down to the BW carpark for a special organised photo shoot (Hope someone has a good lense) and hopefully we can capture and set a new style of photo here (This will be replicated on a later date as well in a larger area but im sure we can get away with it.)

3. Head down to the Spit to relax bring a rug or chair if we are to sit for a little while.

4. Just up the road from the spit is a nice pub. Here we can get some food and drink (Last sunday cruise beer battered Fish and chips was $7.00)

Sit down and relax and just talk general crap :glare: lol as we do now and then

5. To be made at this stage, but a leisurely cruise up tambo maybe instore here but its time and user discretion on this matter.

6. Head home to do what ever we do at home.

What Are we doing: Driving from crazys heading South at this stage, from here we shall organise a photo shoot with some difference. Much different to the ones that have been posted on previous events. People its time to think outside the box of straight line shoots ;) This will also be decided soon enough as im arranging a few things with a couple of others on ideas.

From this at this stage we need as many as we can, up and above 12 -15 +

From here we shall end the day with a meal. Then either two choices cruise home or maybe a cruise up tambo we will see.

What you need to bring: Good Behaviour :P, Money, Petrol in your car. Camera if you have one. Shiny car. yes that means get out that Wax of yours wash and wax your car, i want Shiny .

This is open to All skylines, 33's 34's and oh 32's.

The photo planing we are doing i havent seen a photo like it yet, But cannot give any more details than that at this stage as this is going through some planning on this one.

So please post your interests. and watch this space for finer details

Cheers Guys

Adam

Ummm being a GCer .. when you head south and stop somewhere ... let me know where and when and ill meet you there... Springwood at 1200 is too early for me... been working night shift all week.. 6pm to 6am..

I'll be there Adam. Car will be washed, polished and ready to go. My g/f will probably be with me too. Sounds like it will be a good arvo. Have not been on a Sunday cruise for quite a while.

    • My hold point for future mods is that I want a OEM detachable hard top first, but, finding one is a pain, MX5 Mania are looking for one for me, but, as hens teeth are more common, finding one in Australia is proving problematic  I can get a OEM one from overseas, hell, you can still get new ones in 'Merica, but, shipping is a absolute killer and I cannot justify the cost, or the risk of it being damaged during transport As for the aftermarket hardtops, whilst they do the job of being a hard top, and are fine for a track car, they don't seal well (read: leak like a sieve in the rain), and you need a plastic/poly rear window, plus they are a bolt in option only and not made to be easily removed I liked how the hard top on my NB could be fitted, and removed, by myself, in less than 5 minutes I know it sounds bad, but I'm waiting for someone to write off a car with one so I can swoop in on their pain, it will go to a good home though, so my guilt of this is tempered
    • I’ve got one on mine and it’s fine,
    • No, you don't want to plug the vacuum line, as that will turn that side of the booster into an air spring and probably make it feel worse. I'm not saying that the GTR master itself doesn't need a booster. I haven't paid attention to the GTR one to know what size it is cf the non-GTR ones. But when you think about it - they have to do the same job, which is to move a little slave piston a few mm to do what it is supposed to do, and that final action is the same on all the cars. So, it is very unlikely that the GTR MC is any different than the others, because it has the same pedal stroke and the same output requirement. The booster just makes it feel easier. I'd suggest you probably have an actual hydraulic problem. It's totally common on these old shitboxes.
    • Ye, in terms of bolting up the "Conversion" from a GT to a GTT is effectively "Use GTT parts for everything" Except the subframe itself, because you won't want a HICAS/4WS subframe. Remember your ABS system will be different too, thanks to GT being the S15 3 sensor system, instead of the R34 4 sensor system for wheel speed. I do not know how people get this to work given R34 diffs do not have a provision for an ABS sensor (they are on the tone wheels of the axles). I assume***** people use S15 gear/R34NA forever when they realize this - Or they convert it to a rear diff/axles that are R33 style which I presume has the singular speed sensor on the diff itself, but then you have to wire it all in and...and... and...
