Nothing was changed in the boot was sealed as per stock can vouch for it.

It's nothing to do with the boot being sealed, or the battery compartment being sealed, it's whether or not the battery itself is a sealed (non-servicable) battery.

at the tip of the exhaust on the stock one there was a sensor or something, im not sure what it was but the dude cut off the connection to it and i was wondering what it was.

This is not a sensor. Its a vacuum valve. On the stock exhaust there are two outlet pipe. Only one is open. As the revs of the car get higher, the second opens up too. Not sure about turbo models, but I know that this is the case for the N/A R33's.

I only found out when my stock exhaust got ripped off for a 3" mandril bent exhaust with 5" outlet :ermm:

Since you have a non-turbo (assuming cause of you user name) the exhaust will be loader than the equivilant exhaust on a turbo. This is because the turbo effectively acts like another muffler.

I would say get a silencer that you can just plug into the outlet of your exhaust. Thats what I've done. Haven't had any trouble with cops and its a bit quieter in the car too.
