Custom air intakes

I was thinking of getting some intake pipes made up from aluminium from AFM back to the turbos. Do u reckon that it will help much in terms of power?

If so, why dont they have aftermarket ones? Seems everyone(ie. companies) is using the standard rubber ones with their low mounts. I'm sure the smooth air flow would help...

i think VPW mailorder have some but its cheaper to get it done yourself,and this i think is a very good idea as when u run a little higher boost pressure that hose sometimes sucks itself in and slows down the flow

That was on my mind as well, but didnt think it was that serious.

I might start looking for someone to build one for me then.
