Odometer Stopped Working

Just today I noticed my odometer and trip meter stopped working. The odometer stopped when it was on 79999, just as it was about to tick over to 80000 clicks. What can I do to fix it? New cluster? Has anyone else dealt with the same problem?

i have the same exact problem. mines stuck on 76xxxkm. Funny thing is, its like its got a mind of its own. Ive had this for 3 years now and each year at the same time around june-july, it starts counting again and then stops after a few days. Sounds spooky.

i havent attended to the problem yet. my guess is to change it.

anyone that can help?

it must be a finacial year odometer... they usually work when the tax man it out.

Fairly common problem on the mechanical oddos in Skylines, it has to do with the fact that they are all clocked . The oddo driver stuffs up in them as well and you can't buy it on its own . Easiest fix another cluster and hope its going to work for a long time .
