Fuel Spillage

Out driving with a few liners last weekend and i could smell fuel intermittently. There were no obvious leaks anywhere but the guy behind me said that he could see me losing fuel and suggested that there is a mod done to the filler on imported lines that has been known to cause probs with spillage.

Has anybody had a similar prob and is there a known cure?

haha Grant beat me to it...yes its an easy fix and common in imports, courtesy of dodgy compliancing.
