Skyline Black Smoke Problem

HI GUYS I HAVE A RB20 DET AND WHEN YOU GIVE IT A BIT IT SMOKES BLACK I NO ITS FUEL BUT WHAT COULD IT BE SO I CAN FIX IT IF CAN THANKS

uhh... not running fuel thats too rich would be my first step. possibly a service? what injectors you have atm? any mods to the car? you'd need to give a bit more detail...

does it run like crap? the reason i ask is mine did that too turned out to be the afm

hi IT HAS HAD INJECTORS CLEANED STANDED IT HAS FMIC BLOW OFF VALVE AND AIR POD AND 3 INCH PIPE WHAT FUEL IS TOO RICH THANKS

Black smoke to good compared to the other alternatives.

That's a standard Skyline problem. The ECU will enrich the mixture toward the top of the rev range to prevent damage. Have a look at the back of any turbo car when they "Give it a bit" they will all blow a little black smoke.

blow off valve makin the car run rich, put your stock one back on and it should stop smoking

very true. if its a little bit of smoke, its normal.

blow off valve wont have anything to do with the on-throttle fuel mixture.

if its not the usual skyline scenario, my guess would be the afm as mentioned, o2 sensor or timing.

check all 3.

start with cleaning your AFM

then if you still have a problem i would change your o2 sensor,
