Want a factory shifter for my R33 GTSt in good nic.

Must have the circlips.

Preferably with the ball joint housing and pivot cap as well.

Apparently the R32 will fit also? Must be in good nic though!

ive got a Tomei short shifter for sale. only test fitted in my R33 and fits fine. the lil plastic thingy at the bottom was smaller, so im guessing its for an R32. chasing $100 for it.

Still looking for a shifter in v good nic with circlips and nylon cap if possible.

livicuru might have one but in case he doesn't let me know if you've got one lying around to go.

I'm thinking $100 plus post is a fair price.

      I definitely agree with you there - I never click on content for cars I would never ever be able to get or compete with/against/be seen next to. Seeing a MX5 compete with a FD RX7 will make people upset though, for sure. Even in 2.5L Turbo form which is pretty grass roots. (or at least as grass roots as classic cars can be) Yes we're all classic car owners now.

      People don't always want builds that are overly expensive, or have engineering/registration/insurance issues and head aches that come with them Whilst big dollar builds, and complicated stuff is interesting to watch, there is only a tiny % of people who would actually use this information, or have the spare finances to drop on said builds, whereas the buy a cheap(ish) cool car, and make it better, with a average budget, that the average Joe or Jane could achieve will always be a winner in my opinion

      Bit of a thread revival, you mentioned wanting a bit more top end before, do you regret not going with the 1.01?

      It's kind of interesting - They definitely do builds that split the difference between what they like and what will generate views and engagement. The NC Platform always surprises everyone in a good way, in an uncomfortably good way some may say. They could throw a LS in there and arguably have the best (and best performing) car of the entire stable. But that isn't necessarily what draws views, because people viewing don't want to accept the vegetables of a LS NC MX5 being a superior vehicle in every way (including fun) than a RB26 240Z. This is also why there's not a lot of content about the GR Yaris (on the web in general). They're too good, yet 'only a Yaris' The community doesn't want certain cars to be as good as they are - to beat their hero cars, and I believe the NC MX5 is absolutely one of those cars.
