Mrgilly.... if the lady at the front desk isnt, ask to speak with her manager.... and then he should be able to put you on to the fraud department for the commonwealth bank as its in there best interests, I probably wouldnt expect the lady at the front counter to care to much as its not there problem... But the manager will be able to give you contact details for the banks fraud department. Always go to the manager and if he wont help, then look on there website aswell.....

I think.....(no dis-respect to you)....you attract these flies.

Get some...squatters to have a talk to them....you have really been to nice.

Not only by not naming them...but by not swearing at them.

Good luck getting your money back...........another thread...buyer beware.

COD if you can.

Can't Admin block dodgy traders IP?

And then what happens if you try to use that IP from that internet provider?

You cant get onto SAU either.

IP bans dont work well, hence we dont use them ;)

Admin/Mods spent a fair bit of time trying to protect you guys.

I spend hours each week searching, so do other Admins, and we all chat most days to each other to keep this site running as best we can.

However it is buyer beware at the end of the day. I cant stress that enough

  • 3 weeks later...

I sat on it for some time before naming this prick up, but there is no hope of ever seeing my money refunded ffrom GuestyR33, long story short if you cant be bothered to sort through the post GuestyR33 advertised a R32 Gtr seat in perfect nik, it started out at $600 and eventually dropped to $300 I snapped it up, paid the freight from Melb---Tas as it looked the real deal in photos and he assured me it was, he had a trader rating of three with very good comments so it all looked good, went ahead got it here to discover the seat was way warped....rail bent big time and had been in a decent impact, he spoke to me at first via pm only as he would not answer his phone, then once i got to the nitty gritty and asked for a refund, he made a couple of exauses ...stopped answering pm's and of course his phone not to be heard from again, at the suggestion of several members on sau i gave him two deadlines to respond and he didnt, so here's his Karma!! I drove to hobart and picked myself a set of immac R32gtr seats today the pair $700...stoked, and as for GuestyR33 good luck selling the rest of ure gear u ripp of farkwit wanker :domokun:

if ure really interested go into my profile and have a look at the pics in the posts dept

Closed.

Having spoken to GuestyR33, im happy with his explaination of the situation.

You seemed to "omit" some key details madaz, and that does no sit well with me if you want Admins help.

This matter is closed in my eyes based on hearing both sides of the stories

If you have any further issue, go seek some legal advice as the forum cant offer you anything more.

Thanks.

    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
