Hello

I have to get my tierod ends replaced on the front side of the car. I was wondering if the Custco aftermarket ones or any of the aftermarket ones are good? Or should I stick with stock ones? The place that is going to fix my car is charging me for the tierod and the ends, but the tie rods are fine. Should I get the whole thing replaced or just the ends?

Thanks

If your car is lowered to the point that your tie rods are no onger parrallel to the ground then yes they are a worthwhile upgrade (reduce bump steer) BUT there are plenty of cheap and nasty items which wear out very quicky and the cost invlved in upgrading the rose joints with quality QA1 items means you could have bought a good set to start with.

As for tie rods i ususally i fit R33 items to most cars (s13, r32 etc) as they are stronger (requires r33 ends also) or fit extra lock items like uras, ikeya formula or tein.

So the Cusco are not good ones? My car is not lowered. Everything is stock except for exhaust.
