Cx0x0x0
Hey, Just wondering if anyone would be able to help me find a non-turbo r32 or know anywhere i could go to try find one. I have searched every where and asked every one but haven't had much luck. I have recently found one on J-Spec Imports but it is not what i am looking for. Thanks, Cx0x0x0 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/161038-non-turbo-r32/ Share on other sites
r32line
http://www.carsales.com.au/ Why have you attached a picture of an R34?? I fail to see the connection..... What state are you in? On all of carsales there are 3 r32's that are non-turbo. One in VIC (GTS25), 2 in QLD .... The non-turbo's are much less popular, particularly in the r32. Why don't you want a turbo? r32line
Well I would just get sum sh*t box for now and save while im on p's. Then by the time you are 21 you can get a nice GTR like you planned. Getting a non-turbo 32 i think you will regret. The rb25de engined r32 would be a little better, but yeah I would just wait till I could get a turbo and save in the meantime. Then again, I have owned an r32 gts-t while on P's and it was my first car... so saying to buy a sh*t box to roll around in for 3 years is very easy to say, and much harder to do. D_I_F
Any imported car will cost you a shitload of insurance if you are still on your p's and under 25 Then again, I have owned an r32 gts-t while on P's and it was my first car... That was prob back when people could drive.. lol.. RB30de FTW haha Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/161038-non-turbo-r32/#findComment-2995366 Share on other sites
Cx0x0x0
Lol, i no i should probably get a shitter and save my money, but thats the whole reason i would like a (non-turbo) skyline or something like a supra or most silvia's that you no its got no performance and goes like it aswell but it will atleast look like it does. most 'other cars' and 'shittas' are exactly that. I have major plans for this car and i really would like a car with atleast the tiniest bit of style. I know what im going to do when i finnish year 12, when im 18 and i might only earn up to 65k a year at the most but by the time i am 21 and off my p's like you said i will have saved a bit of money since i was 18 that will get me the perfect gtr.. Hopefully, if i dont blow all the money as soon as i get it. I love these cars and i no how expensive they can be but in the end isn't it worth it?? Your all lucky to have had one or have one currently but surely before you did have it you had major plans for what you were going to do with it and how excited you were to get one and how much you wanted it. I dont no thats just how i feel everything about them is classy and looks good, front and back. How many other cars can you say have that kinda style.not many. im still going to get one but just need to find the right one for me. and i cant seem to find one yet but hopefully some one will be able to help me. r32line
^^ Fair enough, best of luck finding a suitable car. And yes, they are the type of car you can make plans for and spend a lot on. Since buying mine I have done full stereo, put on brand new full exhaust, completely resprayed the car, 18" wheels and im in the process of getting coilovers for it... not to mention countless other things like gauges etc, its hard to not spend money on but thats all part of the fun Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/161038-non-turbo-r32/#findComment-2996959 Share on other sites
Tofu
why? For the heartache, stress and $$$ by a shitter. Sure you wont look cool in a KB laser but when you get a gtr it will be worth it. Modding a GTS/4 can be fun but not worth the money. Save cash, invest it in a high interest bank account. When the time is right it will be way worth the wait. non-turbo r32s are a waste of time. Eug
non-turbo r32s are a waste of time. find one with an RB25, or are they not exempt from p-plate laws? when done right, an NA can be quite fun... my car certainly isnt the fastest in a straight line - but i've found that it teaches you to be a better driver. r32line
Yeah, but waiting for now, and getting a shitter, and saving in the meantime to eventually buy a GTR!!! Oh man would that be worth it! D_I_F
People don't realise how much it costs to run a skyline/180/200sx compared to a normal car eg: 1.8 straight 4.. God I love my rolla.. A 100k service let alone is like $800+ Skylines are only made for one thing... The track.. I have never met an 18yo that earns 65k a year unless its there daddy's money.. Cx0x0x0
Well you dont always get daddys money and you dont need it when your starting out as a coppa. You get a starting wage of 55k for the first year doing traffic controll and then 65k from the second year on, from what i have heard. Besides you dont always get the choice of having daddys money unless you wipe their arse for them. no offence. Believe me i no how expensive these cars can be my friend blew an 11.2 second GTR engine and spent an all up 10k on buying a new one and fixing what else was broken, its not his fault though, its just now he has learnt not to let any one drive it. Any way to those people that think it wouldnt be worth it and would be a "waste of time" nothing you love is a waste of time and to people that think so just have 'other' expectations.
