Hey all,

I am selling my R32 to move onto greener pastures. It's a genuine manual turbo GTS-t in white solid - I searched long and hard to find one in this spec as most are auto or the pearl white colour. It's been a great car and is in fantastic condition, I am only selling due to an upgrade. The car is off getting a service and a few other bits and pieces for RW, so it will not be available until next week at earliest.

Please only enquire if you are serious;

NOW ON EBAY!

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-SKYLINE-R32-...1QQcmdZViewItem

For sale: R32 GTS-t four door, manual + turbocharged

Item Condition: Great condition

Price and price conditions: BID! :mellow:

Extra Info: Car is in awesome condition, has had body recently restored/painted (many areas back to bare metal) in factory white solid and sports no modifications externally (spoilers, kets etc). I have had the boot replaced to one without spoiler for that clean look - I wanted to maintain a clean minimalist style of car. Interior is very clean and all original parts remain. I have spent alot of money bringing it up to speed on the inside, with all new interior door handles, new genuine factory Nissan gearknob, new gearboot etc. I am quite picky and I have almost done a part restoration on this car in areas that required it. It has Melbourne reg until October (IIRC) and will come with RWCert subject to negotiation from the buyer. Modifications are;

  • Genuine BOMEX TYPE 1 aero mirrors
  • All clear GTS-t front indicators (from Blitz - thanks Nick!)
  • Late model (series 2) R32 four door tail lights
  • Stainless 'twin' dump pipe from turbo to cat
  • Stainless Fujitsubo cat back exhaust
  • Tube and fin front mounted intercooler (not a cheap bar and plate job)
  • King springs - SUPER LOW
  • Near new 18x8 & 18x9 Genuine WORK Equip mesh rims with 90% Nankang tyres

Pictures: To come shortly

Contact Details: PM

Location: Melbourne

Delivery & Conditions of Delivery: We'll sort it out

Cheers,

Chris

Sorry guys, pics should be up by this Monday night latest...

As for the suspension, I had some really stiff coilovers in it but they were too tight for my liking so I had the factory springs re-set and it drives beautifully now.

Sorry Nick - I sold them to a mate of mine... :)

That said, I would go a brand new set of TEIN Super Streers if I were to do it again...and set it up as you like.

Free bump for me, pics will come asap sorry peeps...

Sorry guys to all those PMing and posting for pics - pics should be up tomorrow night with any luck... :D

We unfortunately had an issue with the Super Drager exhaust being for an R33, not an R32...so it did not fit. We'll be fitting a suitable replacement shortly. Also, I forgot to mention a brand new K&N pod filter has been fitted...

Also, it's at this point I should mention I could not have gotten the car anywhere near the standard it is without the help of the team at Auto Indulgence - THANK YOU! I had specific plans for the car which at the time was sitting mid-build in my garage while being stuffed around by other workshops. Auto Indugence took it on board and got the car completed to an awesome standard in a matter of 3 weeks! I cannot speak of their efforts highly enough - from the bodywork, to mechanicals to cosmetics, they organised and completed the lot. :)

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
