R32 Gtr Bonnet ....

Hi guys,

just wonderring if anyone ever fitted R32 GTR bonnet onto GTS-T ? do we have to do anything or just swap it over? how about the grille? do i need a GTR grille for GTS-T? and will it fit?

I put one on mine with the grill and also needed the gtr latch mechanism. I'm pretty sure you don't need the grill.

Fits but as said you need the GTR latch.

Yeah, i considered doing this, but first you need to pay for a 32 gtr bonnet, which being made out of aluminium is not cheap for one that is perfect. Then you need the latch, more money... apparently the gts-t latch can be modified but you would need to be able to work with metal etc...

Then you have the grill. The bonnet will be fine without it but it will look off without the grill. The grill are another item that sell for a pretty penny, a lot of ppl want them, so be prepared to pay a bit for that...

If you are happy with all that, then yes it can deffinately be done for a price...

The bit that holds the bonnet down. So when you pop your bonnet inside the car, then u got to the front of your car, there is a little handle you reach under to lift, then the bonnet can be raised. On a GTS(T) the latch secures to the front of the bonnet, due to the differences in the GTR bonnet the latch will not line up, AND it is in the way of where the grill would be located...
