bugger
as i turn, is stiff and there's sound. BUT the sound is not all the time, is after a certain degree of turning, then the sound will be heard. what about the fluid? there's fluid inside. (B1) MR_fanny
yeah but is the fluid topped up at the correct level? if its making the noise just before full lock then your fluids are low. i had the same thing, topped it up, problem fixed. Zilch*
This may be a stupid comment but I don't know how much you know about cars so I'll say it anyway.. Check to see if your power steering belt is still on the pulley, maybe even half off or snapped, happened to me while driving and was a real pain in the arse, lucky I was on a straight road. Other than that, check the fluid level as suggested. Beer Baron
you do realise not every car feels the same? a camry steering will feel different from a BMW which will feel different to a ferrari which will feel different to a skyline.
