EVOIV, the R32 is lighter than a sil??? Wtf? The engine weigh's like 200kg's more over the front end in the R32 doesnt it ?(i think it does anywayz....), which = major understeer.

I've got a heavily modded sil man, and to be honest, it is soooo easy to get sideways with a one second pop of the clutch. And controlling it and holding out the drift isnt too hard either.

But hopefully i'll be getting some coilovers soon aswell too make my sliding experience more enjoyable.

Most ppl talk the talk but do not walk the walk, as with dorifting/powersliding, and u will not learn unless u run ur car off the road a few times. I do not claim tio be able to dorfit as i cannot connect corners yet but i have mates who 'claim' they can.

Half of these ppl dont even push their car!! My advice? Push it hard but enjoy it at the same time, you have to fail before you can succseed!

Anywayz..i know some ppl who have been importing sils just for track use for dorifting, you could pick one up form Japan modded for 4k if ur know here u are looking.

Hmmmm,,,Dman thinks he should get another car for weekend driving..Muahahahaha

An AE86 would be an even better chioce for controlled dorift :)

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365. I used to love doing this 20 years ago on SAU and got a bit nostalgic for a moment... 😅
    • Try fabricating something like this and install it under the pedals? Not sure if it's legal or not....
    • Even though I have some pretty good (brand) ratchet ringies, I avoid using them to break open tight bolts. A broken ratchet is very annoying.
